PRIVACY POLICY

TL;DR: We store only what we need to run the service. We don't sell your data. You can export or permanently delete your workspace data at any time.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and workspace details when you register. When you use the platform we collect usage data such as agent run logs, credit usage, and API call metadata. We do not collect the contents of documents you upload beyond what is necessary to run the requested agent task.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to: provide and improve the AgentRent platform; process payments via Stripe; send transactional emails (run completion, approval requests); detect abuse and enforce our terms. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. DATA STORAGE & RETENTION
Agent run outputs are retained for 90 days on Team plans and 1 year on Professional plans. Uploaded documents are stored in isolated, workspace-scoped object storage and deleted when you remove them or close your account. Credit and billing records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.
4. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (EU/UK USERS)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: (a) Contract performance — providing the platform and account services you signed up for; (b) Legal obligation — retaining billing records and complying with applicable law; (c) Legitimate interests — detecting fraud, securing the platform, and improving service quality, where these interests are not overridden by your rights; (d) Consent — for any optional communications you opt into. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use Stripe for payment processing (governed by Stripe's privacy policy). Agent runs are processed by third-party AI model providers as described in our Model Provider Disclosure; per-agent policies control which providers may be used and whether personal data is redacted before processing.
6. COOKIES
We use one session cookie (HttpOnly, Secure) for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. Analytics, if enabled, is first-party and cookie-free.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccuracies, or deletion of your account at any time by contacting privacy@aiagentrental.ai. We will respond within 30 days. EU residents have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We will notify you by email and in-app banner at least 30 days before any material change to this policy. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
