TERMS OF SERVICE

TL;DR: Use the platform lawfully. Agent outputs are working documents, not legal advice. Credits are non-refundable. Either party can terminate with 30 days notice.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By creating an account or using AgentRent (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

AgentRent provides a platform for running AI-powered governance and security compliance assessments ("Agents"). The Service includes a web dashboard, API access, a knowledge base, and an approval queue for human oversight of agent actions.

3. PERMITTED USE

You may use the Service for lawful compliance, risk assessment, and governance purposes. You may not: use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or fraudulent; attempt to bypass security controls; reverse-engineer the platform; or resell access without a written partnership agreement.

4. CREDITS & BILLING

The Service operates on a credit system. Monthly credits are allocated at the start of each billing period and do not roll over. Purchased credits do not expire. Payments are processed by Stripe. All sales are final except as required by applicable consumer protection law.

5. OUTPUT DISCLAIMER

Agent outputs are working documents intended to assist qualified compliance and legal professionals. They do not constitute legal advice. AgentRent makes no warranty that outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for submission to regulators without independent professional review. You are solely responsible for decisions made on the basis of agent outputs.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload. AgentRent owns the platform, its code (open-source under MIT licence), and its agent definitions. You grant AgentRent a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the Service.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgentRent's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. AgentRent is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. TERMINATION

Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it will be permanently deleted. Billing obligations that accrued before termination survive.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

We will give at least 30 days notice of material changes to these terms via email and in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
